Wyatt
Coming 3 year old Noriker Draft Cross, bay roan gelding. 14.3hh and still growing.
We are excited to offer this versatile little horse to the public.
We have owned Wyatt since he was a yearling. We started him lightly over the past year and we are thrilled with how well he came along.
He was bred at Willow Springs Ranch in Canada but he proudly wears our brand.
A beautiful roan who’s coat changes color with each season.
He is a solid built horse with good feet.
Under Saddle - Wyatt will walk, trot, lope with ease. Picks up both leads easily, is learning to collect and carry his body properly. Wyatt is very content walking down the trail, nothing fazes him. He’ll cross water, go over obstacles, doesn’t mind traffic and rides on a loose rein all day. Wyatt trusts his rider.
On the ground - Wyatt has a sweet personality, stands quietly to be tacked, groomed, bathed etc. Picks up his feet nicely and is good for the farrier.
His friendly personality makes him easy to catch and he’s always the first one to greet you.
He currently gets worked 1-2 times a week. He is the same horse every time you pull him out.
He has experience with cattle, has done some ranch sorting and we have roped the Smarty off of him.
Quiet gelding with a very good mind, not spooky at all.
Goes English as well.
Wyatt also knows how to sit down on the bean bag.
Wyatt has in-cart training. He has pulled the cart on the road, in the arena and in the fields. We were hoping for enough snow to hitch him in the sleigh before he sells but we may have to leave that to his new owners.
Loads, unloads and hauls easily.
100% sound, with good movement.
He is solid. PPEs are welcome at buyers' expense.
Clean with no scars or past injuries.
Wyatt is special to us and we would love to get updates on him and hear all about his new home.
