Create my profile now!He is a 15 year old appendix gelding, about 15.2 /15.3 hands, UTD on coggins, vaccines, dental, and farrier. He is handsome, thick, and sturdy with beautiful big eyes and a sweet heart.
Goes English or Western; no bad habits but not for a beginner. Doesn't take a lot of leg, but not overly sensitive either. He likes to go do things and would be a great one to just get on and go for a ride with friends. His gaits are comfy: the trot he will go nice and slow, or get big if you ask, he has a little bit of a front-end hop into his canter which is a little upright and comfortable enough to sit and relax. Would be a great 4H horse.
What's the worst thing he does? He is a little mouthy on the bit and will at times "root" a little. May look at something new pretty hard, but doesn't DO anything.
Previously used on trails and endurance riding. Currently, being ridden around our property.
Ground manners are great; ties, stands alone, loads and backs off trailer, hauls well, good for vet and farrier.
Good stall manners, not a cribber. He does prefer to be with other horses, and is in the middle of the herd. Does well with both geldings and mares.
He is very curious and enjoys time with his people and has an in your pocket personality, but still has manners.
Easy keeper; on grass 24/7 now with minimal hay and diet balancer; no shoes. Clean legs, good feet, good conformation, and amazing mane and tail!
