Talk about a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Here is your chance to own a critically endangered Mountain Pleasure horse, the oldest documented gaited breed in North America! The Equus Survival Trust recognizes Mountain Pleasure horses as critically endangered and a Preservation Landrace Breed.
Now, more on this gorgeous boy! Rockin R Corona, lovingly called Ronin, is a four-year-old purebred MPH gelding. His is a gorgeous palomino with a partial left blue eye, he stands approximately 15.1 hands tall. I have known this horse since the day he was born, being bred by my dear friends and the largest breeders of Mountain Pleasure horses in the world, the Rockin R Farm.
Ronin is a dream of a trail horse. He only goes as fast as you ask him and bravely goes anywhere his rider asks him to go. He has been ridden on the trails of Tennessee and Kentucky and has been trail-ridden by an eight-year-old girl, safely packing her across various terrain.
For the past six months, Ronin has been trained for western disciplines, with an excellent start on his stop and turnaround. He is well on his way to being a great using horse and has been roped off without a hitch. He is guaranteed to be the coolest horse in the barn!
Ronin has been hauled to indoor and outdoor arenas and ridden in a mounted drill team by adults and confident children. He is excellent on the ground and loves affection. He is the first to greet you at the gate and gets along with mares, other geldings, and even babies.
There is really not enough good things to say about this beautiful boy, he has been lovingly bred, raised and trained and is the perfect example of how versatile Mountain Pleasure horses can be. Interested parties are always welcome to try Ronin before the auction ends here at our farm in Jeffersonville, Kentucky. We have trails on site. Our utmost goal in offering Ronin to the public is that he will be able to spread awareness of our beloved breed and open up the world of MPH to the rest of the world. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions regarding Ronin. We look forward to meeting you!!
